Myk did a full-band showcase this week, marking the Americana Music Festival and Conference in Nashville, TN. Venerable website/video channel, Music Fog, invited Myk to perform live in their video recording suite, along with artists including Raul Malo. Tune into musicfog.com in the coming days to catch his performance! Meanwhile, ‘Mr. Nashville,’ Billy Block, introduced Myk as “(Canada’s) king of americana” on his tuesday night show at the Red Rooster Music Hall!

Myk, I was a member of the Songlines Music Listening panel yesterday when you took the bull by the horns and *made* them sit up and pay attention! You go, guy! And I’m going online to get a copy (a physical CD, for sure) right after AMA — after all, I might still run into you over the next couple of days and you could autograph it in person. Anyway, loved the song, can’t wait to hear more, but mostly gotta give you big props for standing out in an AMA crowd! All best from Music City, Sue
